Mariana Salamanca is a Business Analyst for Velocity Solutions. She joined the firm in 2010 with a background in project management, leadership and public relations in the political field and private sector.

Prior to joining Velocity Solutions, Mariana worked for the NC Republican Party as a Regional Field Director implementing voter programs and grassroots volunteer efforts on behalf of the NC GOP. She also served as Deputy Communications Director for the Southeast Region on the John McCain Campaign in 2008 managing all Hispanic media and messaging for the campaign. Mariana also spent two years working for her family's small business in the plastic and coal industry where she managed client relationships and developed key account relationships in South America and Mexico.

Mariana was raised in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 2000 with her family. She studied abroad in London and Switzerland and earned a BA in Political Science with a minor in Economics and International Development from Wake Forest University. Fluent in Spanish, English and French, Mariana enjoys world travel, outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
